Overview

Formoa 024 was originally developed for use in eastern climates. The adhesive can withstand hot and humid climates and remain durable. Its strength and very high flexibility capabilities make it ideal for withstanding applications that experience lots of movement and heavy impact. The reduced viscosity means it is easier to use than some other MS polymer-based products.

How to use

Application Temperature: Between 1℃ and 30℃
(Lower temperatures will increase thickness)

Surface preparation: Clean surface to remove grease and contamination. Then apply Formoa surface activator prior to bonding and allow 10 minutes to flash off.

Application: Method will depend on foil pack or cartridge use. If unsure on the correct method of application, follow your company's SOP or watch the 'How-To' video in the media section below.

Tooling/Removal: Use an approved soapy solution before the skin over time.

How long does Formoa 024 take to cure?

Formoa 024 typically takes 2-4 hours to reach handling strength and up to 72 hours to reach full strength. While Formoa adhesives and sealants are designed to cure efficiently under various conditions, high humidity can accelerate the curing process, and colder temperatures might slow it down.
